I, too, have handknits from my grandmother (knit for me 30 years ago) that my daughter wears. I can't wait to put our newest little sweetie in them! (we went with IFS and said "yes" to the waiting child, by the way) Thankfully, my grandma is still with us and is already planning some new knits for the coming addition. I know how to knit, but am not as prolific- I think it must have something to do with being a mommy to three! ;-) How lovely that she can join you at work!
