I've missed quite a few posts! She's so BIG!!!! (something went funny with my Bloglines and I wasn't notified of new posts. Boo.) Love the videos of Day 1 vs 1 year later. So much change. Today is 3 months with Dorothy and I can hardly bear to see the Gotcha Day video because, even after only 3 months, I can read her fear and pain and hurt in her eyes from that day. Amazing how resilient she's been. Whew. Love, love. love that she loves books. I can't tell you how hard it is to get Dorothy to sit for a book reading. NO INTEREST. All our other kids, we influenced them from birth, "we love books! books are great!" Brainwashing. :-) But, bring home a toddler that never was read to much, and WoW!... no reverence for books.
