I guess it's more wintery, but it freezes well so it might be something worth making now. I know I'm late on this comment too, but even if your leeks are gone maybe you can use it next year! I also love that it uses short ribs because I never know what to do with those (we get a lot when we buy a side of beef). Using the short ribs creates a really flavorful broth.
